It’s been about a year since I returned home from the hospital.  I had been in the hospital for what was supposed to be a somewhat routine operation but God had another plan.  While in the hospital I contracted several infections and ended up in ICU.  It was a long two months in the hospital and a trying time for my wife, Terra.  But God was faithful and he brought me back home to be re-united with my beautiful wife.

It’s been a difficult year since I’ve returned home.  Aside from having to catch up financially from being off work for such a long time, Terra and I have had to grow back together again.  Along with the stresses of life, like work and finances, we’ve had to learn to cope with some of the new challenges I am now facing, the most difficult one being some short term memory loss.  But as God proved in the hospital, he is faithful, and continues to show His strength and promise in our lives.

I’m back to work fulltime now and things are going pretty well.  There have been some bumps in the road but with some proactive memory strategies (a.k.a. Terra) and God’s continued healing I’m well on the way to recovery. Great is thy faithfulness, oh God my father!
