“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19
INTRODUCTION
Harbour’s relationship with PACE Ministries started in 2005. Short term teams have gone every year since as well as short term individuals and couples (1-12 months). To date well over 50 different individuals have gone on one of these programs to PACE from Harbour.
WHY GO TO PACE
Through our partnership with International Teams Canada (www.iteams.org) there are 15 different projects connected with PACE that one has a chance to participate in encouraging infants and nursery aged children to school aged children to youth to adults to seniors. Harbour has chosen to support 8 different pastors who have organized with PACE Ministries through the Caleb Fellowship to oversee these various projects – covering education, health, adult training, skills education, water, farming, mission work throughout Kenya and into Rwanda, The Congo and Uganda, prisons, street children, orphans and most of all spiritual growth and nourishment.
WHAT WOULD I DO
If you have a skill a hobby an interest or just love to be with people there is work for you to do. We need people who love babies, small children, youths, adults and seniors. We need people who can teach what you know and love to do – build, cook, sew, grow etc. We need people who can read, who can talk and who can listen. We need people who can heal. We need people who can play games, do crafts, tell stories and enjoy life.
SHORT TERM TEAM DATES 2013
