This is from my friend, Natalee:
"Friends, a couple of weeks ago my little sister was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour on her thymus gland. She has been experiencing significant health struggles for a little while and was also recently diagnosed with a rare autoimmune muscular disease called myasthenia gravis.
She is having surgery tomorrow (Tuesday May 23) to remove the tumour. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her, and we hope the surgery will also put her autoimmune disease into remission.
Praying friends: please pray specifically that the surgeon is able to complete the surgery laprascopically and that they won’t need to go through her chest wall. Please pray the tumour is not attached to any major organs.
Kat has a long road of recovery ahead of her.
