During the night on Thursday, May 1, my nephew, Jeffry Bensler, was involved in a terrible accident at work. His legs were crushed, and he tragically lost both of his legs below the knees. He is currently recovering in Foothills hospital in Calgary, AB.
We are so thankful that he survived and that his injuries are not even more catastrophic. However, he still has a very long road ahead and will obviously face a lot of adversity on the path to adjusting to life as a double amputee. He is facing this unfathomable adjustment with incredible strength but will need a lot of love and support and prayer as his journey continues.
